PMI Participates in PACEP Scientific Assembly and PAP Scientific Meeting

PMI President, Dave Nicholson and Business Development Manager, Andrea Pingley recently spent time networking at the Pennsylvania College of Emergency Physicians (PACEP) Scientific Assembly in Pittsburgh, PA and the Pennsylvania Association of Pathologists (PAP) Scientific Meeting in Harrisburg, PA.

With great turnout at both events, PMI was given the opportunity to speak with Pennsylvania ER Physicians and Pathologists about their revenue cycle management concerns and the changing climate of healthcare. On the forefront of most providers’ minds is the new administration’s agenda and the potential impacts to the medical field. Attempts to repeal/replace the Affordable Care Act and possible changes to the CMS Quality Payment Program are just two of the unknowns facing providers. Dave and Andrea welcomed the conversations and insights, as PMI continues to monitor regulatory agencies closely in order to prepare for whatever changes are on the horizon for medical billing.
