Members of CMS’s National Standards Group (NSG) recently visited PMI to discuss real- world examples of the challenges physician billers face in their day-to-day operations. The participants were able to see the inner workings of a revenue cycle management company and how HIPAA simplification standards, which NSG oversees, impact their processes.
